My career as a paramedic
Which company should I start working to?
I am so happy to have finally finished my DEC! It has been 3 years of hard work. So far, I had two employment offers! I am not sure which company I should start working to. Should I go to Urgence-Santé, a public company who serves a large population, or should I go to Paraxion, a private company who serves a smaller area?
Choice 1 : Go to Urgence-Santé.
Choice 2 : Go to Paraxion.
Choice 3 : Go in beauty, which I've always been passionate about.

Urgence-Santé.
I am happy to say that I started working this week at Urgence-Santé! It is a big company with a lot of paramedics. Everyone is welcoming, except one of them who doesn't seem to like me very much. I think he is making mean comments to people about me. What should I do?
Choice 1 : I talk to the paramedic directly.
Choice 2 : I talk to the supervisor.

Paraxion.
Wow! I started at Paraxion this week, and it has been a dream! Everybody is so nice and welcoming, and the views are amazing. One of my coworkers seems to sometime do illegal things, like drinking on the job or forging medical reports. As he is the paramedic I work with the most, I'm scared of saying something. What should I do?
Choice 1 : Talk to my supervisor about it.
Choice 2 : Say nothing.

I talk to the paramedic directly.
I decided to talk directly to the paramedic! He told his name is Sebastian, and that he never talked badly about me, he just likes to tease everyone new. We laughed it of, and became really good friends!

I talk to the supervisor.
I decided to talk to the supervisor directly, as I'm sure he will know what to do about it. He told me he would do anything about it, as I didn't have any proof of what I said. He seemed to think I am a liar. Should I just let it go, or go to HR?
Choice 1 : Let it go.
Choice 2 : Go to HR.
Talk to my supervisor about it.
I decided to talk directly to the supervisor, as this is a serious matter. He told me he would look into it, and see what he can do.

Say nothing.
I decided to say nothing. He has been working here a long time and seems to have had no accidents over the year. Nothing serious is going to happen, right? Oops, my shift is starting. I have the choice today of working with that same coworker, or pick a new one. What should I do?
Choice 1 : Pick a new coworker.
Choice 2 : Stay with the same coworker.

Let it go.
I decided to let it go, as I am sure it's nothing harmful. Over the next months, he eventually seemed to stop making comments about me. We're not particularly friends, but no enemies either. Everything is back to normal.

Go to HR.
I decided to go to HR, as I should not have to endure any harassing on the job. HR told me they had a lot of complaints about this paramedic, coming from other coworkers and patients as well. Their next step if firing him. At least I wasn't alone!

Choice 2 : Don't ask him on a date.

Stay with the same coworker.
Another shift with this coworker won't hurt anyone. Oh! We're receiving a call for a possible gun shot wound victim. As we arrive, the police is still not there. I tell my coworker we should wait for them, as the shooter could still be there. He wants to go in right now. What should we do?
Choice 1 : Wait for the police.

I decided to ask him on a date. He actually said yes! We went to dinner and then came back to his apartment. A couple weeks later, we were together. I am so in love.

Congratulations, you just passed on your soulmate. You will grow old to 6 cats, which you will treat like the children you could have had, but didn't shoot your shot.

We decided to go in immediately, as the call said multiple shots fired and that could mean someone is dying. I am really nervous. There is a lot of bleeding around our patient. We have a choice between dressing the wound or doing a medical tourniquet.

Do a tourniquet.
The tourniquet is faster and stops the bleeding. We are able to get out very quickly, without seeing the shooter. Our patient is still alive, and so are we!

Dressing the wound takes us more time. As we try to stop this bleeding, the shooter is back in the room and shoots us. We are dead.
